Malcolm BradburyMalcolm Bradbury (1932- 2003)

'My fictional world is spread very widely, even to imaginary lands - my imagination has caught up Norfolk from time to time. Like many writers I see writing as a constant intersection between the local and the universal...'

Author of 'campus' novels such as Eating People is Wrong (1959), and the acclaimed Doctor Criminale (1992), Bradbury was Professor Emeritus of American Studies at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, where he pioneered the now world-famous Creative Writing course. A hugely successful and versatile writer and editor, he lived in Norwich for over thirty years.
